Hi, I’m Bhawna Aggarwal (Sonia), CEO and Chief Clinical Director. As a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a Master’s degree in Psychology (MS Psychology) from Eastern Kentucky University, Richmond, KY, USA, I am dedicated to working with children with autism and developmental disabilities. I am passionate about helping families support their children in the best way possible, which inspired me to write Building Better Behavior: Unlocking Potential through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This book provides practical guidance for parents to help their children develop essential skills using a variety of ABA strategies and manage challenging behaviors by understanding their underlying causes.

With over five years of experience in the field of ABA, I have worked with clients of all ages, specializing in creating individualized treatment plans that focus on improving communication, social skills, daily living abilities, and behavior management to increase independence and overall quality of life. I collaborate closely with families, ensuring each plan is tailored to meet unique needs and promote lasting, positive outcomes.

I hold multiple licenses and credentials, including Registered Behaviour Analyst (R.B.A.) from the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO), Licensed Behavior Analyst (L.B.A.) in Texas and North Carolina, and International Behavior Analyst (IBA). I am also trained in Skill Based Treatment .

I actively serve the professional community through leadership and committee roles, including Executive Member – Quality Committee at CPBAO, Member of Human Rights Committee at Autism Services of Mecklenburg County, Member of ABA Leaders Club, and Member of the National Autism Network of Canada. Through my dedication to advocacy, education, and compassionate care, I strive to make a lasting difference for children, families, and professionals supporting those with autism and developmental needs.
