What is ABA
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science-based approach that helps us understand behavior and how it works. ABA supports children in developing a wide range of skills, including communication, social, academic, vocational, self-help, daily living, leisure, behavior management, and social-emotional skills, helping them become more independent. Using evidence-based strategies such as reinforcement, prompting, and shaping, ABA encourages positive behaviors and reduces challenging ones. Progress is closely monitored to ensure interventions are effective and tailored to each child’s needs. This approach is widely used to support children with autism and developmental disabilities, helping them gain independence and a better quality of life.
